A-Med Health Care follows Medicare guidelines for billing charges,
and bills Medicare directly. As a Medicare provider, A-Med maintains
a direct electronic billing link with Medicare and other insurance
companies, utilizing state-of-the art technology for daily billing
and account processing. A-Med will ship your supplies directly to
your door and then bill Medicare and/or any other insurance that you
may have. This results in no up-front expense to you as an A-Med
customer. A-Med will then send you a statement for any deductible or
co-payment amounts that may apply.
Medicare
& You
We
have listed below, for your convenience, Medicare's provider
standards, with which we comply:
A provider
will fill orders from its own inventory or inventory of other
companies with which it has contracts to fill such orders; or
fabricates or fits items for sale from supplies it buys under a
contract.

A provider is
responsible to oversee delivery of items that the provider ordered
for the beneficiary. The provider is also responsible to assure
delivery of large items to the beneficiary.

A provider
honors all warranties, expressed or implied, under applicable State
Law.

A provider
will answer questions or complaints a beneficiary has about an item
or use of an item that is sold or rented to the beneficiary. If the
beneficiary has questions about Medicare, the supplier will refer
the beneficiary to the appropriate carrier.

A provider
maintains and repairs directly, or through a service contract with
another company, items it rents to a beneficiary.

A provider
accepts returns of substandard (less than full quality for a
particular item), or unsuitable items inappropriate for the
beneficiary at the time it was fitted and/or sold, from the
beneficiary.

A provider
discloses consumer information to each Medicare customer. This
consists of a copy of these supplier standards to which it must
conform.
A
provider complies with the disclosure provisions in Title XI of the
Social Security Act, section 1124A (a).
