How long will it take to receive my order?
Cash orders usually ship within 48 hours. Any items requiring a prescription may take longer, since we must obtain the prescription from your doctor prior to dispensing. A-Med will contact your doctor for you to expedite the process. If you choose to have A-Med bill your insurance, first-time orders usually take 5 to 15 days, depending upon the type of insurance coverage you have. When setting up your new account on a-med.com, before shipping your order, A-Med will determine your insurance plan's eligibility, acquire any necessary authorizations, obtain certificates of medical necessity, and assist with associated medical records and documentation. After the initial setup is complete your order will be shipped promptly and A-Med handle all billing. Repeat order are a snap -- you can place your order in just a few clicks using Quick Order.
